March has begun and IDays is closer than ever. Beginning on March 11 and ending on the 14, IDays is an event that celebrates TRU’s international community.

Well, this year you can get all of these things in the same place – on March 11 and 12 the IDays International Food Festival will be taking place from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm in front of Old Main, and you for sure will not want to miss it!

If this wasn’t enough to convince you, there will be an International Cooking Show on March 11, so if you’re passionate about international cuisine or you just want to learn about it, you should definitely go to this event!

Learn about different cultures & showcase yours!

There is no doubt that multiculturalism is becoming more a priority in this generation’s daily lives and getting to meet people from other cultures is something normal in our day-to-day.

But how often do we actually talk or share about other cultures or our own culture with the people around us? The IDays 2020 Showcase is an event created specifically to share our culture, to share with others our love towards our traditions and to feel, once again, at home

  • IDays 2020 Showcase, March 13, 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the TRU Gymnasium

Drum with your friends at the Drum Café

One of the most popular events in IDays, and my personal favourite, is the Drum Café. In this event you will have an experience that you can’t find anywhere else; a sphere of high energy and emotion is created through drumming along other participants, it will relax, motivate and energize you to attend this event and you will end up wanting it to never end!

The event is free and it will be happening on March 12 so mark it off in your calendar and I hope to see you there!
