Adventure Guide Program in Iceland

Did you know that TRU has partnerships with other universities around the world? TRU partners with Keilir Health Academy in Iceland and offers and 8-month university program for Adventure Guides.

The program is a 60-credit intensive education building on local and international expertise within the field and using the unique and accessible natural environment in Iceland as a practical classroom.

Twelve weeks are spent in the classroom and twelve weeks are spent doing field activity courses. You can complete the whole program in breathtaking Iceland, and all course credit completed in the Adventure Sport Certificate is transferable to other Adventure Studies Department programs at TRU.
