Support Services: International Student Advisors (ISAs)

International Student Advisors (ISAs)

TRU’s International Student Advisors (ISAs) provide personal counselling for international students both before your arrival in Canada and during your program.

TRU students can count on the ISA team for information or assistance with student life in Canada. The ISAs also coordinate housing, orientation, and settlement services.

Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs)

Some of our ISA’s are Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs), meaning they can help with your questions regarding visas and study permits.

Before making an appointment with a RISIA regarding questions about immigration issues such as a study permit, visa extension or work permit application, you are required to attend one of the IRCC workshops first.
