Your Checklist of LNAP: HAVE FUN and Get Work Done


Long Night Against Procrastination (LNAP) is only 2 weeks away. Have you been to the event before? Do you know how to prepare for studying throughout the night? Here is a checklist that might help!

Academic Preparation

At least 1 assignment/subject of study to work on

A laptop/flash drive with materials you need for the assignment(s) or reviewing

Printed materials or books you need to study


Printing paper

Earphone/headphone if you wish to listen to music or watch learning materials

Optional: A phone/camera to document your progress and the fun!

Health and Safety

Water bottle/mug

Facial cream (to keep your skin healthy)

Facial cleanser

Bus pass (sleepy driver = road killer)

Money to pay for a cab in case you want to go back in the middle of the night

Comfortable shoes

Comfy warm clothes (fun onesie pajama is allowed!)

Optional: Things you need for the morning (if you are going to class directly after the event)

To-do list

Plan your night ahead to make the best use of time

Have dinner before you go

Show up and check in at 8.00 pm

Find a good seat

Go to the second floor if you want a quiet space

Read the schedule and highlight what interests you

Book an appointment with the Writing Centre or a librarian if you need some help

Grab a water/tea/coffee and snacks

Check out the booths with fun stuffs (the Wellness Centre booth, the board game table, etc.)

Keep your voice low although talking is allowed on the first floor

Safe your assignment in your flash drive every 15 minutes, or use a cloud service (such as Google drive) in case the computer crushes

Go to activities and workshops on time


Get up for a walk or stretch your body once for a while

Run for the PIZZA (It goes fast!)

If you make it to the morning, get your breakfast and a LNAP survivor notebook


Appreciate the sunrise

HAVE FUN and get work done!
